Every year, we celebrate birthdays, usually in March, around grandpa's birthday at Pete's in Krebs, OK. This was your first year there! Last year, we didn't even know you existed! Here, grandpa is 88!

I think you get lonely in your dreams. You often reach out to find my skin. How sweet is this? Do you see how big your hands are? You'll be palming a basketball soon.

Well buddy you're 1 year old now. Time for your first smartphone. You can already work our phones well enough and you certainly love playing with the screen and tweeting and im'ing for me you can probably handle your own.

We brought you home to live with us forever on this day one year ago. We had to sign about 50 pages and your birthmother had to tell the judge that she picked US to be your parents! We're so blessed she was such a courageous and loving woman.
