Marty-pants

You had nine Lightning McQueen toy cars. All a different model. You had an addiction. 

A couple of notes this month. First you are brilliant. You are making all sorts of logical leaps this year. The latest and noisy impressive was out of the blue telling mommy that a W upside down was an M which stands for Marty. Second you are the kindest cold I know. You are always saying please and thank you on the most sincere manner. Just this morning I brought you do water and you said "thank you so much daddy." You make your parents proud.

Today we went to the Pumpkin Patch where you had tons and tons of fun. You played on 5 different bouncies, went down a big slide and a really big side, played with goats, sheep, bunnies, turkies, ducks, donkies, horses, and chickens. You road on a barrel train pulled by a green tractor, and two hay rides (with really big tractors). Then you picked out your very own pumpkin. Not a bad day at all.

I braided it tonight after we washed it. It's such good hair! And, besides, you rawk it.

We spent a week at a beach house in Galveston. You had so much fun in the ocean.

Your first church wedding! You were awesome and quiet and sang along!

Whenever one of us says "I love you little man!" you either respond with a hearty "Yeah!" or nod your head vigorously. (This blog is going to be so much fun to show your dates to embarrass you)

We went to a celebration on campus where some international student have a crazy paint and water fight. It was a blast!

Now you're 2! Look at how small that bear is compared to when you were born!

You tripped over your own big feet in the kitchen!

This guy was "Pos", your, Jude's and Violet's favorite late night buddy. He would show up about 9 with some buddies to play cards on the deck and you kids would have so much fun staring out the window at him.
