We've been doing a lot of fishing recently. Your first day fishing, you caught nearly a dozen and learned to cast pretty well. Haven't had any good days since, but you're still a champ and keep trying until we're ready to go. And while you used to think the 4-wheelers were too bumpy, now you can't ride them enough. Today we had donuts, went fishing, went for 4-wheeling, you played with Parker while I drank beers with Chad, then you and I cooked hotdogs under the moon. Not a bad day at all.

It's 82 degrees. You and Daddy think it's a good idea to get in. The water is 72 degrees. No thanks - Mommy!

Today mommy had graduation so we went to the park. You decided that you wanted to walk across the damn, and by the end of the walk you'd scolded me for asking if you were tired and I only had to carry you a mile of the 1.5 miles. Love you son.

'Tas tro fi' for catastrophe. It's awesome. You usually yell it when daddy can't shovel sand fast enough to keep the water from breaking holes in your dams.

Just a short note. The other day we ordered pizza. We don't order pizza often, but we got some pizza and you loved it. But you hadn't really noticed pepperoni before (I'm sure you've had it before). You asked what it was, and we told you, but you might have misheard us. A week later you're playing cars with mom, and you decide they're having a pizza party. And you said the pizza delivery man is bring us a pizza with pepper-macaroni. So much fun being your parents.

Your mom just messaged me saying you fell asleep singing "skip to my Lou!"

Your mom woke up one day and found out her cousin's daughter was in OKC. She was playing the band for her college's women's basketball tournament. So of course we went up to meet Mirassa. You had a great time, and we showed her around bricktown, took a boat ride on the river, ate at Toby Keith's bar (you were not impressed by the BLT, just the fries). And then we went to Toys R Us and you got a color changing car...shocker. Love being your dad.
